We are the Reese’s and welcome to our online home!
We invite you to take a look and explore our site which is all about our life adventure together. To get things started, we own and are in the process of converting a 2003 Thomas Built Bus into our new tiny home, also known as a skoolie. Our dream is to drive around North America exploring. We can’t wait to explore new places along the way with our two dogs, Koro & Pumbaa. We plan on living full-time in our bus.
While we were both working at OG (Olive Garden) and I was throwing a party one night, I invited her to come overr… Long story short, she never really ended up leaving. Over the course of the first summer that we dated, Breanna and I were constantly on the move. We were either working, or going camping at the dunes in Indiana. We both have a love for the outdoors, animals, and food. So, it’s probably not a coincidence that we just hit it off immediately.
We Love Vacations
We started to get hooked on taking vacations and exploring new places. We were always wanting to be somewhere new, experiencing as much as possible in the short time we were there. Some of our past trips include St Louis, San Diego, Nashville, Lake Delavan, Hillsboro, Cocoa Beach, and Myrtle Beach just to name a few. Even when we are being not so nice to each other due to the stress of traveling, at the end of the day both of us agree there isn’t another person in the world we want to travel with. Traveling and seeing the world definitely became our passion with both of us always planning the next place to go and things to see.
Lets fast forward a little bit to the beginning of 2015 !
Our amazing wedding at Lake Lawn Resort was the best night of our life. Now it was time to plan for our honeymoon to EUROPE!! It was tough leading up to the wedding as we had not been able to take a mini vacation (as we like to call them) to anywhere due to vacation days being spent in the most epic summer ever! Planning and paying for a wedding is quite difficult, there is a lot that goes into just one day but in the end we are quite happy how it all turned out.
Europe Was Intense
But we cannot wait to go back! Oh man it was absolutely amazing, I would rather be having the most absolute worst day traveling Europe than the best possible day working my nine to five. If you have the chance to go to Europe, you need to take it, what an experience it was it really opens up your eyes to how small this planet earth really is. With in 8-10 hours you will be in a completely different place, culture, atmosphere, and even possibly day.
We Bought a School Bus!
Yes we sure did! Immediately after our return home from Europe, we began to look for our bus to be. Finding the right bus for you is definitely a lot of work, because it needs to be as close to perfect as possible considering length, rust, age, engine, transmission, and the list goes on. Now if you are shopping for them on some of the auction sites such as govdeals.com or puplicsurplus.com waiting for that perfect bus to come along, and for the right price at auction is a tedious process. The anticipation of almost getting a bus, but having to wait on the auction can be a long process. Searching all avenues for our new bus we finally ended up finding ours on eBay .
What We Are Up to In 2016
2016 is going to be a great year for us and we can not wait to get it started. We are still in the midst of converting our school. We hope to be on the road no latter than July. July is Breanna’s birthday month, and there’s no better way “Happy birthday” than hitting the road with our biggest adventure in tow. We plan to head straight to the Badlands in South Dakota.
